‘Yoga’ means “to yoke”, or to join together. What are we joining together? Body and spirit. Heart and mind. The tangible and the intangible. Esoteric and practical. Taking something theoretical and having an experience.
Some people try to escape from their troubles with spiritual bypassing. Sure, you can meditate all day and “raise your vibration so high that earthly matters don’t affect you”…ha! Yeah, right! That sounds great, but let’s be real –
Being human means facing challenges.
It’s part of why we’re here on Earth. Why we chose to incarnate in this lifetime, in this body, during this time.
We’re here to learn from our experiences, to grow from our challenges.
Not to avoid and escape.
Kundalini yoga is a practice – a technology – that uses breath, eye gaze, mantra, and postures to balance the endocrine system, strengthen the nervous system, and clear the energetic body. It’s like a green juice detox for your body, mind and spirit. It is a tool that helps us join together, integrate and embody our spiritual AND our very real, human experiences.
It helps us cultivate a clear mind and open heart, a resilient spirit, and strong, healthy body.
And it works FAST.
After my first experience with Kundalini Yoga in 2017, I was hooked. I felt AMAZING, so I did it again the next day. And then next. And the next. And before long, my life started changing. I had more energy, more capacity to deal with stressful situations, and most importantly, I started trusting myself. The more I showed up for my practice, the more I realized how capable I am.
I realized how powerful I am.
